XCEL Federal Credit Union believes that online security must always be a top priority, so we’ve implemented a new security feature to protect you from fraud called Multifactor Authentication.

This is a long name for a smart tool that strengthens security at login while providing peace of mind for retail and commercial online banking users. Multifactor Authentication protects against online fraud by providing an additional end user authentication 'factor' beyond the username and password commonly used today.

All online banking users will be required to answer an additional security question to prove their identity after initial login. Once you set this up, you're all set. It’s that simple: the next time you log in, its business as usual. And the rest of your online banking experience will remain exactly the same.

This superior security technology protects your accounts from unauthorized access from whatever computer you're using, whether you're at home, at the office, or on the go.
