Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

XCEL Federal Credit Union, a $ 193 million non-profit financial cooperative is looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reporting directly to the President/CEO.  As a member of the senior management team, the CFO will be responsible for the financial oversight of the organization. This role will be responsible for directing the organization’s financial plans, establishing policies and procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets and reporting the operating results of the credit union to both the board and regulators in compliance with both GAAP and Federal rules and regulations. The CFO will also be responsible for planning, controlling, and directing the credit union’s accounting, financial reporting, and collections systems. They will also be responsible for preparing and delivering a final annual budget that reflects both operational and strategic planning goals. The CFO will develop periodic financial forecasts to reassess the expected performance against established goals working with senior management team for key inputs. The CFO will have responsibility for managing the credit union’s asset/liability management function, organizational and product profitability, and managing the credit union’s investment securities portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 10+ years of progressive advancement and strong contributions in the financial services industry with a minimum of 5 years experience as a financial leader.  XCEL FCU offers a competitive salary and benefit package.
