Call Center Representative/Bank Teller

XCEL Federal Credit Union seeks a seasoned professional Full Time Call Center Representative/Bank
Teller with a background in the financial to work in the NYC/Federal Plaza branch of the credit union.
The position assumes the responsibility of effective, and accurate performance of call center customer
service duties, with the ability to effectively solve customer issues, and inquiries; keeping customer
satisfaction at the core of every decision. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle heavy
phone volume focusing on identifying customers’ needs, clarifying information, researching issues and
providing solutions and/or alternatives. Seize opportunities to upsell products and services whenever
possible. Knowledge of credit union operations a plus. Upholding the utmost confidentiality and care of
member accounts is paramount.

Strong Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. The Representative will establish and
maintain courteous and professional telephone relations with the members at all times. Minimum of two
years of banking experience required, high school degree or equivalent, ability to operate a computer.
Must be detailed oriented, self motivated, and a strong problem solver. EOE Submit resume with

Teller/Member Services Representative (Float)

XCEL Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Member Services
Representative open to traveling to branch offices located at Journal Square – Jersey
City, NJ and New York. The position is a “float” position requiring flexibility in work
location. The position assumes the responsibility of efficient, effective and accurate
performance of financial operations.

The ideal candidate must have three plus years of frontline teller experience with
knowledge of proper cash handling procedures, strong mathematical skills, detail
oriented, proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc., cash dispensing
machines experience.

The candidate is required to establish and maintain the highest degree of courtesy,
respect, and professional business relations with members, fellow employees and
management.

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills are
required
along with a high degree of problem solving, honesty, reliability, and
teamwork.

Upholding the utmost confidentiality, and care of member accounts is paramount. No
weekends. Only candidates with frontline financial institution or credit union
experience will be considered.
