XCEL Federal Credit Union with 180M in assets is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant located at our Bloomfield, NJ Operations Center. Position will assume the responsibility of providing efficient, effective, and accurate variety of administrative support duties to Senior Management staff of six.
Three to five years of experience. Candidate is required to establish and maintain courteous, professional business relations, and possess the ability to interact with fellow employees and management. There will be extensive personal contact with staff, Board of Directors, vendors, which can be of a personal or confidential nature. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem solving skills are required. Candidate must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills. Must possess proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Mail Merge, etc.) as well as mail merge in Excel/Word, which is a requirement of the position.
Specific duties include making travel and lodging arrangements, set up meetings (day and evening), conferences, seminars. Perform scanning function of various types of company correspondence. Prepare, type, format, and proofread variety of documentation. Screen calls, take messages and reply to inquiries and requests for information as directed. Order supplies for multiple locations, as well as various other administrative duties as required. Candidates with Banking or Credit Union experience preferred. Salary will be based on experience.
