Member Development Representative

XCEL Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Development Representative located at our Bloomfield, NJ Operations Center. Position will assume the responsibility of cultivating new and/or existing select employer groups (SEGs), promoting credit union membership to potential members of same, as well as SEG ambassadors; whereby maintaining a positive, productive and ongoing relationship.

Plan, initiate, develop, and maintain, ways to retain and strengthen relationships with existing select employer groups. Represent the credit union at designated events for the purpose of promoting credit union membership; educating potential members about the credit unions products and services.

The position requires an energetic, self-motivated individual that possesses outstanding public speaking skills, and networking ability. Strong interpersonal skills, superior verbal and written communication skills and ability to problem solve are required. Candidate must be detail oriented and possess superior organizational skills. Must possess expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Candidates with banking or credit union experience preferred. Salary will be based on experience. Three plus years of experience in the area of Business Development required. Submit resume and salary requirements to hr@xcelfcu.org EOE.
 

Chief Operating Officer

XCEL Federal Credit Union is seeking a skilled Chief Operating Officer to join the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to identify, establish, and maintain the credit union’s achievement of goals through motivational leadership of Branch, Call Center Lending Managers and staff. COO represents the credit union as Compliance and Security Officer and all related duties thereof.

The candidate must possess a strategic vision along with significant contribution toward meeting the credit union’s operational and financial objectives. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will be an integral part of developing and implementing credit union policies, monitoring credit union facilities to ensure they meet current needs and recommended changes for future growth, ensuring sound services and working relationships with members, governmental bodies, vendors, Board of Directors’, and staff. Candidates with proven leadership as a senior level executive required, along with five to ten years of financial institution experience.
